The snake eats its tail, and the record does the same. It opens with an invitation and closes on a song that hands you straight back to the first one.

In between are nine songs, each in a different shade of dark electronic music, and each about something that folds back on itself: language breaking down into sound, time caught in a loop, the memory carried in DNA, a pattern that repeats at every size, a world that changes when you look at it, a ritual that ends where it began, a surface with only one side, and the nothing between two moments.

There is more in the words than you hear the first time. The Invitation says so itself: one hundred and seventeen secrets, in three tiers. Some take minutes to find. Some take days. Most people will hear the surface, and the surface is enough. The words to every song are on this page for anybody who wants to dig.
